Artist Jeff Bowe
BIOGRAPHIC REVIEW
I am a professional artist. I have been painting for others and exhibitions for over 25 years. I am widely experienced and skilled at rendering in most media, including airbrush. I have related skills, developed at my studio, from research and participation in Inner-light sensitivity and REM sleep, dream-tracking. My palette is meant to emulate conditions of radiance and luminosity seen by the Inner Eye.
My studio/gallery is available to the public, seven days a week. I teach color-therapeutic healing and wellness in a course of my own design. I teach beginning and advanced lessons in painting and lead guided meditations through structured, visualization exercises. Commissions for commercial, portrait and creative artwork are also a significant part of the studio energy.
Outside the studio, I speak to groups about color therapeutic fundamentals and I work in class rooms with children to foster a richer engagement with color. Also, I am a prolific mural painter working both interior and exterior surfaces at hospitals, psychiatric and chemical-abuse rehabilitation centers. Businesses and educational institutions have responded as well. Additionally, I presided over a popular art guild, in which time, I set-up several multi-media public showings. My activity has garnered attention from all media. I have been a featured guest on radio shows, the biographic subject of a Public Television series and well covered by prime-time television and regional newspapers.
MY interest in formal exhibitions is increasing. My show list includes a presentation at the San Francisco Whole Life Expo. on request, 1 exhibited in a first-annual International Wildlife Artists Show in Binghamton, N.Y. Several famous world-class artists were fellow exhibitors. For five successive years, the New York State Fair Wildlife Artists Exhibition has shown my work. And a one-man show in my honor exhibited at the National Wildlife Federation Education Center in Washington, D.C.
